In 80’s, a Writter named Robert Parker started to rate wines for customers. It became popularized and today, Mr Parker is the most recognized wine critics with his 100 points system.
Wine Rating Explaination
Wine Rating doesn’t neccessarily indicate how good a wine is.
Wines are scored based on production Quality and Typicity.
For example, the Region, the Wine Style, our imput.
100 Points scale at Petite Winery
50 – 69 Wines are undrinkable
70 – 79 Wines are not recommanded but drinkable ( Average)
80 – 84 Wines are above AVERAGE
85 – 89 Wines are GOOD
90 – 94 Wines are EXCEPTIONAL
95 – 100 WINES ARE AMAZING
Drink outside the Box…
We encourage you to taste as many as you can. Red wines, White Wines, Rosé Wines to understand better the quality of wines. Our palate is in adequation to wines we are selling but it doesn’t mean that we are always right…
